Location and directions

SCSK Optima is located in a peaceful and quite neighbourhood, far from the Old Town bustle. Krakow’s Administrative Distric – Podgórze Duchackie where SCSK Optima is located is a residential district with good infrastructure.

Not far from the centre, there are a department store CH Bonara (15 minutes walk), shops and green areas. In close proximity, there are also a few office centres (Budomat, Buma Square, Electrolux), train station Kraków-Płaszów as well as St. Raphael hospital. It’s easy to get from SCSK Optima to Krakus Mound which offers a spectacualr view of the city.

It takes 15 minutes drive to get from our centre to the Salt Mine in Wieliczka (8 km distace). Easy and fast access to the bypass helps iwhil leaving Krakow without entering the bustling Old Town. Therefore, our location is perfect for those who have a business stop in Krakow.

From the City Centre – from the Main Train Station At “Dworzec Główny TUNEL” stop, get on tram no 50 (direction – “Kurdwanów”). After 8 stops, get off the tram at “Kabel” stop, take the zebra crossing to Malborska Street, crossing Wielnicka Street and later Kamieńskiego Street. 400 meters from the second crossing, there is Optima. Faster and easier way to our centre is to get a taxi from the Train Station to Optima. The taxi rank is located in the car park over the train station. You can get there taking a lift or stairs. The taxt price should cost approx. 25-30 PLN. From Kraków-Płaszów Station, at “Dworcowa” stop, get on the following trams: 3,6,13,24,50 (direction – ‘Bieżanów Nowy”, “Kurdwanów”), get off at the next “Kabel” stop, take the zebra crossing to Malborska Street, crossing Wielnicka Street and then Kamieńkiego Street. 400 meters from the second crossing, there is Optima. It’s possible to get dirrectly to 65 Malborska Street by bus no107 (second stop). From Balice Airport, go by train from the airport, next get off at the Main Train Station and take tram no 50.

From Warsaw, take the following streets 29: Listopadowa, Aleje Słowackiego, Mickieewicza and Krasińskiego Konopnickiej, Kamieńskiego and behind Castorama store turn on the second lights to Malborska Street (road signs dirrection to Rzeszów and Wieliczka). From Katowice, from A4 highway there are two possibilities: take bypass Krakow Południe, next take the direction to Kraków Łagiewniki straight through the traffic lights and the randabout, on the frst cross-roards, turn right and in the next traffic lights turn left to Klonowicza Street. After 1000 meters drive you are in 65 Malborska Street in our centre. Second option, at the Radzikowskiego roundabout, turn right to streets: Armii Krajowej, Czernowiejska, aleja Mickiewicza and Krasińskiego, Konopnickiej, Kamińskieg, behind Castorama store, turn on the second lights to Malborska Street (road signs directions to Rzeszów i Wieliczka). From Crzanów, take ks. Józefa Poniatowskiego Street and cross Zwierzyniecki bridge, take Kapelańska street until Grunwaldzkie roundabout, turn right to streets: Konopińska, Kamieńskiego and behind Castorama store turn in the second lights to Malborska Street, (road signs direction to Rzeszów and Wieliczka). From Zakopane, take Zakopiańska and Wadowicka Street until Matecznego roundabout, turn right to Kamieńskiego Street and behind Castorama store turn in the second lights to Malborska (road signs directions to Rzeszów i Wieliczka). From Wieliczka, take Wielnicka Street until Kamieńskiego Street, in the first lights, turn left to Malborska Street.

Very easy access from SCSK Ptima to the city centre.

From “Sułkowskiego” bus stop (near 65 Malborska Street) take the bus no 169, get off the bus in the first or second stop after crossing the Vistula RIver bridge.

From Malborska bus stop (near Kamieńskiego Street) take buses no 144 or 173, get off in the first or second stop after crossing the Vistula RIver bridge.

From Kabel tram stop (near Wielnicka Street) take trams no 6,1,3, best get off in Plac Wszystkich Świętych stop in case of trams no 3 and 24 you can get off in Poczat Główna stop.

Cheap rooms in Krakow with an excellent standard: each room has a private bathroom, TLCD TV, Wi-Fi Internet, a tea/coffee set.

What a price – amazing

It’s hard to find accommodation for this price in Krakow. Decent rooms with TV set, firidge and some with air-conditioning.

Clean and in the rigth place, parking, berakfast OK, Around 10 minutes walk to the tram stop. Friendly and helful service.

Great location and well maintained rooms. Very clean just like in hotels with hugher standard. Tasty breakfast.

Hotel standard room, definitely after redecoration. Elegant bathroom, clean bedding, comfortable beds, spacious closet in a corridor.

The centre has a good location (transport to the centre by bus takes around 15 min.) Rooms are modest but clean

In general, I was positively surprised despite my previous expectations. The room (and the bathroom) was clean.
